Manager
Shayrehah
I have 3 kids and 2 pups, Olaf and joy. I worked in a pharmacy for 4 years before working for The Foundation. I have a son with autism so working with adults with disabilities was something I've always wanted to do. I started at The Hope Gallery in January of 2021 and moved to Happy Hounds in June. Animals have always been my passion and I can't imagine ever being anywhere else. Watching the adults and the dogs work together so perfectly is just amazing to me.
Assistant Manager
Damon
Hello, my name is Damon and I’m the assistant manager here at Happy Hounds. I am married, have one daughter and two 4-legged furry kids, boxers Jax & Bella. My past employment has been with a home medical and mobility equipment company and in the manufacturing field. Due to a life changing accident in 2017, I decided to change my career path to something more enjoyable which includes helping people and working with animals. Here at Happy Hounds I have the opportunity to do both. With a unique facility that empowers young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities through meaningful employment opportunities and vocational training. As a father with a daughter who is blind, I know the importance of employment opportunities in our community for these young adults.
Afternoon Attendant
Molly
Molly has always loved animals, wanting to work with them since childhood. To this end, she graduated from Indiana State University with a degree in biology. If she had to choose a favorite dog breed, she might have to admit she is a little partial to Shelties. She looks forward to meeting and taking extra special care of your pups!
